Our flat plate solar water heating system is a renewable energy technology designed to harness sunlight for domestic hot water needs. It features a transparent glazing cover that allows sunlight to strike a dark absorber plate inside, which contains pipes carrying a heat-transfer fluid.
As the sun heats the absorber, the fluid warms up and circulates to a storage tank. There, a heat exchanger transfers the thermal energy to the usable water supply. Known for their durability and simplicity, flat plate systems significantly reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, lowering utility bills and carbon emissions.
